Here are the simple steps to participate:
1. Create a scrapbook page sharing people, places and things from Around Town (your town!)
2. Post a link to your page here, using the InLinkz link below (it’s the BLUE frog!) before midnight (central, GMT-5), Sunday, May 4th, AND leave a comment below so we know you’re participating

Originally I was going to scrap of my hometown of Port Alberni BC, but I didn't have any photos showing actual port alberni landmarks (just me and my family and friends hanging out at our homes). So while going through my photos I came across some pictures of our Canada Day Celebrations in Bonnyville (where we live now. . .well technically we live 30 minutes south on a lake that doesn't have any stores or anything so technically we live in bonnyville since that is where our mail goes) so I decided to scrap the Bonnyville Canada Day Parade:

I know what you are thinking (yup middle photo) that is an acutal real-life dog and buffalo riding in a car. They are apparently quite famous locally and do all the area parades. The buffalo climbs into the car all by himself (doesn't need treats or anything) and the dog jumps in and the owner drives them around (I know only in rural communities would you ever see this).

Supplies used:
paper: gcd studios
alphas: authentique (petite type circle)
mists: lindy's stamp gang starbursts (whale watch blue, clam bake beige)
other: heidi swapp (ephemera)

Thank you for stopping by and for your wonderful comments, hope you have a great day and if you have time i would strong encourage you to play along at Papercrafter's corner: http://papercrafterscorner.com/blog/papercrafting-challenge-insd2014-around-town/
