Ice Cream on a HOT day

Next up today is a photo of my son and I eating ice cream at our family reunion. There is an ice cream stand at our campground so we would walk there as a family once a day to get ice cream cones:

I am submitting this for Scrap Our Stash February tic-tac-toe challenge:

I went down the middle using polka dot paper (bottom layer is black paper with gold polka dots), hearts (brads along the right side of the photo), and glitter ("hot" and in the ice cream).

Thank you for stopping by and for your wonderful comments :)

Home, Happy & Family

I went down the middle going down using sequins, layering, and hearts (both stenciled background, and embellies).

Thank you for stopping by and hope you can find some time this month to play along with these two fun challenges

some people are worth melting for - stuck Feb 15

Next up is my take on 02-15-17 Stuck?! Sketch:

My son melt Anna, Elsa and Olaf last spring at a Disney Princess concert. After the show they had a meet and greet and we were the first ones in line. The icicles and snowflakes were cut with my silhouette and then i glittered the icicles and heat embossed the snowflakes.

happy 4th birthday mason - Let's Scrap 2-15-17

Good morning everyone, how are you all doing?? The last couple of days have been rough as I have been super tired (hence why it's taken me almost a week to get this posted). As soon as I saw the newest sketch at Let's Scrap I knew that I was going to scrap pictures of my son and his BFF (mason) at his party last year. I used DCWV chit chat stack. I flipped the right side to suit my photos.

Thank you for stopping by and for your wonderful comments, hope you can play along at Let's Scrap

Love - - Pixels and Paper February DT Reveal

Hello everyone and welcome to February!!! Are you still writing 2016 (it's okay if you are!!!)

Today is February 1st and that means inspiration release day at Pixels and Paper. This month's inspiration is bound to make you smile (and probably crave candy):
Image may contain: food

Here is my take:

I was inspired by the hand-drawn heart in the centre of the photo so I decided to hand stitch two hearts. I then scattered sequins around the page (like the conversation hearts around the heart). The title I made using a stencil and heidi swapp metallic modelling paste. All papers are Head Over Heels by Echo park. The flowers are prima and recollections. Chipboard (southern ridge trading company) i heat embossed in magenta.

Thank you for stopping by and for your wonderful comments. I hope you can find some time this month to play along for a wonderful prize. You have until the end of the month to link your project at:
